Fixed Recording Arrays

Although movable recording arrays offer many significant advantages over fixed arrays, at CD Neural Technologies we recognize that some experimental situations are best suited by standard fixed arrays. Using state-of-the-art micro-molding techniques, our fixed arrays are designed to be as compact as possible thereby facilitating multiple implants within restricted regions. Moreover, our unique manufacturing process allows us to offer these arrays at very competitive prices. However, if these products do not meet your particular needs, we are also happy to provide custom designed devices tailored to specific applications (see Custom Designs page).

Fine Wire Fixed Position Recording Arrays

Fixed recording arrays provide a low-cost alternative to movable arrays that are suitable for a number of experimental requirements. The image on the left shows a "standard" configuration: 2x8 grid of electrodes spaced 250um apart and 400um between rows. However, other configurations are possible (see Custom Designs page).
